Disa spent the weekend with Good Hope as our booking with Yzerfontein was ‘lost’ by Mr Lubbe and so with no place to go on such short notice, Bridgette came to our rescue.
There were only 5 of our members rallying this weekend so it was fun to be part of the bigger group. In fact there were 3 regions represented as there was also a Cape Western member there.
Weekend started off great with quite a few of our older long standing members returning and our Cape Western guests.
Sign inand some nibbles on Friday were spent on just catching up and socializing.
Saturday’s theme was a touch of red to celebrate the last few days of the month of Love. This was done in style with sundowner and lots of bubbly followed by a game of HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW YOUR PARTNER. To say this was a blast was a gross understatement….it was absolutely hilarious which can clearly be seen from the photos.
Sunday morning joint chairmans with DISA was also not without a few laughs when the dreaded fines persons revealed themselves.
We also presented a 50th National to Nigel and Lorna Hankey.
