About CCSA Boland Region
DIE STIGTING VAN BOLANDSTREEK Boland Sosiale Klub word gestig die 17de November 1977 onder die beskerming van Cape Westernstreek as moeder streek onder die voorsitterskap van ene J. van der Colff. Die Bolanders se eerste saamtrek was gehou te Goudini op die 26ste & 27ste November 1977 met 21 woonwaens. Die kampfooie vir hierdie naweek was R3.00 per dag. Op die 30ste Mei 1981 tydens 'n saamtrek op Ceres, het die Ad Hoc Komitee onder voorsitterskap van wyle Herman Kellerman, is besluit om 'n selfstandige streek te vorm, naamlik Bolandstreek. A special General Meeting was held in the Cumberland Hotel, Worcester, on the 29th August 1981. With the 46 members that attended this meeting, it was decided to form the Boland Region within the following magisterial districts as our boundaries:
The Boland Region's flag was designed by the late Nobby Clark and made by Sylvia Walker. Herman Kellerman received the Boland Region's flag and Charter on the 24th October 1981 at the Convention from the President of the CCSA in Johannesburg. The Boland Region's flag was hoisted for the first time on a rally held at Ceres over the weekend 07th & 08th November 1981 of which 9 families attended. Past Chairmen of Boland Regions were:
